Gnomies, I conclude my posts on sharing details on specific 2023 Stellar Reading Challenges (SRC) with an SRC similar to one I hosted in the past.
In Translation Journey
Read a work that was NOT originally written in your most commonly used language translated to your most commonly used language so that you can read. For example, I might:
Read a book originally written in Danish but translated into English so I can read it.
Each book should be translated from different original languages so as to increase the variety and diversity in your reading.
Levels
- Level 1 – Read 1 Translated Book
- Level 2 – Read 5 Translated Books
- Level 3 – Read 10 Translated Books
- Level 4 – Read 15 Translated Books
- Level 5 – Read 20+ Translated Books
This Challenge goes from January 15, 2023 – January 14, 2024 but you may start as soon as January 1, 2023.
- Books must narrative literature — fiction or nonfiction.
- Books can be read in any format — print, electronic, audio, etc.
- Picture books do NOT count.
- Books may also be counted towards the World Tour and Regional U.S.A. (RUSA) SRC.
